Psychosomatic Practitioner, Breathwork & Movement Therapist
Meet Haruka, a trained Mental Health Practitioner, certified Breathwork and Movement Therapist, Meditation Teacher, Psychosomatic Practitioner, and Sound Therapist who is a seeker of life and a passionate advocate for animal welfare.
With a devotion to promoting mental and physical balance and wellness, she has undergone twelve incredible years of training in India, France, Thailand, Singapore, and Japan. She has also spent nine years facilitating breathwork and teaching movement through the ancient art of yoga and meditation in private and group settings in France and Singapore.
With unique perceptions and responses to the world around her, she has always been drawn to the philosophy of yoga in its origins, which embraces the “good” and “bad” as equal matter. She firmly believes that our body, mind, and soul are all interconnected and that finding a connection to the center within and flowing in the middle, which means striving to balance different perspectives and opinions, are keys to life. Haruka believes that every being should have a safe space to express themselves freely without suppression or hesitation. She practices a patient and neutral approach towards her clients and understands that everyone has their own unique experiences and perspectives; hence, remaining objective throughout her sessions is her goal.
To Haruka, breathwork and meditation are simple but effective ways of being in touch with the Self that is covered by so many layers of socially constructed “I-ness.” Her mission is to support others in achieving optimal inner balance, peace, and wellness through mind-body integration with Breathwork, Meditation, Movement, and Sound Therapy. She often incorporates various evidence-based breathing exercises and techniques into her sessions, enabling clients to become more mindful of their breath and its impact on their overall well-being.
By focusing on breath and movement, Haruka supports her clients in cultivating a more profound sense of awareness and inner peace, allowing them to cope better with stress and anxiety while promoting physical and emotional regulation. With her diverse skills, enormous passion, compassion, and commitment to continued learning, Haruka is dedicated to supporting her clients in achieving optimal inner balance and connection to come home within themselves.
