Clinical Mental Health & Trauma-informed Somatic Therapist

Saraniah T - Sol Therapy, Singapore

Saraniah is a Clinical Mental Health & Trauma-Informed Somatic Therapist who works with adults navigating emotional distress, trauma histories, and significant life transitions. She offers a compassionate, steady, and relational presence, supporting clients to build greater emotional regulation, self-understanding, and an inner sense of safety over time.

She holds a Master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy and has completed a one-year professional training in Compassionate Inquiry, a relational, trauma-informed approach that explores the emotional roots of patterns, suffering, and adaptation. She is also trained in Clinical and Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, and is a Provisional Clinical Member with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC).

In her clinical work, she is guided by a trauma-sensitive, body-aware orientation. She integrates psychotherapy with emerging somatic awareness, gently attending to how emotional experiences are carried in both mind and body. Her approach places emphasis on pacing, attunement, and co-creating a therapeutic space that feels respectful, collaborative, and emotionally safe.

Alongside this, Saraniah brings valuable experience from working within a prison setting, where she supported individuals navigating trauma, substance use concerns, emotional dysregulation, and complex life circumstances. This work has shaped her capacity to meet vulnerability, risk, and resilience with steadiness, care, and grounded presence.

In her work with clients, she supports adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and complex trauma, burnout, grief and loss, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and periods of life transitions.

At the heart of her approach, Saraniah is deeply attentive to creating an attuned and supportive therapeutic environment, where clients are invited to explore difficult experiences at a pace that feels manageable for them, while moving gently towards meaningful and sustainable change.
