Emily is a Client Care Executive at Sol Therapy, where she meets clients in the initial phase of contact with care and attentiveness. She supports each person in feeling received, understood, and gently guided as they take their first steps into therapy.
She holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biology from Universiti Sains Malaysia, where she majored in Animal Biology and minored in Clinical Psychology. Her academic path reflects a natural curiosity about both the living world and the inner experiences of people, as well as an interest in how thoughtful understanding can be translated into meaningful support.
Known for her calm and attentive presence, Emily approaches her work with both care and discernment. She listens not only to what is shared, but also to what may still be forming beneath the surface—supporting clients in making sense of their needs, especially in moments when things may feel unclear, overwhelming, or difficult to put into words.
Emily’s interest in mental health is rooted in personal experiences navigating anxiety, panic attacks, and grief, as well as supporting loved ones through their own mental health journeys. Moving through these experiences deepened her sensitivity to how disorienting and overwhelming emotional struggles can feel, particularly when they are carried quietly or without the right support. They also strengthened her appreciation for spaces where people can feel received with patience, compassion, and genuine understanding.
These experiences continue to inform the way Emily holds her role. She recognises that the first step of reaching out is not only about being received, but also about being understood and gently guided. In her work, she supports the transition from initial contact into therapeutic care—helping clients find a direction that feels considered, aligned, and supportive of where they are.
