Clinical Mental Health & Trauma-informed Somatic Therapist

Sol Therapy - Eleanor Lim

Eleanor is a Clinical Mental Health & Trauma-Informed Somatic Therapist, whose practice centres on somatic work for trauma and integrative healing. She anchors her work in Somatic Experiencing® (SE™),weaving it with trauma-informed psychotherapy and body-based approaches to support embodied healing and meaningful change.

A devoted seeker at heart, of depth and meaning, Eleanor is continuously drawn to what lies beneath human experience. In her work, this translates into a deep attunement to each person’s wholeness and inherent capacity for healing. She guides clients to reconnect with themselves, embody their inner strength, expand their nervous system capacity, process and integrate their experiences, and move forward with greater awareness and self-compassion. Eleanor holds a holistic understanding of what arises in the therapy space.

Beyond cognitive and emotional processes, she engages experientially, focusing on the underlying nervous system states, patterns, and dynamics, meeting each person from that foundation. In sessions, she draws from evidence-informed practices including cultivating somatic awareness, nervous system stabilisation and resourcing, emotional regulation, breathwork, cognitive and solution-focused exploration, and mindfulness; tailored to each person’s needs.

She carries a deep sense that healing unfolds in the presence of safety and attuned witnessing, where all parts of one’s experience can be met with compassion and understanding. That is the space she brings to every session, meeting each person with curiosity, empathy, and a collaborative, person-centred approach.

A professional member of the International Council of Integrative Psychotherapists (ICIP), her expertise spans Somatic Experiencing® (SE™, SEI Professional Training), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy(CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), mindfulness, and hypnotherapy, alongside other somatic and integrative influences. Her areas of interest include trauma, relational dynamics, existential exploration, and self-inquiry. She has supported clients navigating a range of experiences including chronic stress and depletion, hypervigilance, emotional and physical overwhelm, burnout, grief, anger, anxiety, depression, emotional suppression, disconnection and shutdown, repetitive patterns, life transitions, relationship struggles, and self-worth.

For Eleanor, this path is as much personal as professional. Her journey began in 2021, during COVID, when inner awakening, personal healing, and therapy studies aligned in a way that felt inevitable and profound. Navigating internal battles, she found her way back to herself and her path. Today, meditation, introspection and spiritual practice remain anchors in her life, grounding herunfolding and deepening her service to others. She continues learning through everyone she sits with, answering a quiet calling: to support each person in rediscovering their own beingness, as she hashers.
